The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies involving infants and children. This course focuses on the systematic approach to pediatric assessment, effective team dynamics, and the recognition and treatment of respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest.

Participants will apply critical thinking and clinical decision-making through case-based scenarios and hands-on skills practice, including high-quality CPR, airway management, cardiac rhythm recognition, pharmacology, and post–cardiac arrest care. Emphasis is placed on early intervention and coordinated team response to improve patient outcomes.

This course follows the most current AHA PALS guidelines and is appropriate for paramedics, nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and other advanced healthcare providers who require PALS certification or renewal. Successful completion results in an AHA PALS Provider eCard valid for two years.
