The American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR/First Aid/AED course is designed for individuals with little to no medical training who need certification for work, school, or personal preparedness. Participants will learn how to perform high-quality CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and provide care for choking, bleeding, burns, sudden illness, and other common medical and injury-related emergencies. Participants complete the online portion at their own pace, then attend a hands-on skills session to practice and demonstrate CPR, AED use, and first aid skills. This course follows current AHA guidelines and is ideal for workplace responders, childcare providers, teachers, coaches, fitness professionals, and members of the community. Basic Life Support (BLS)

The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course is designed for healthcare professionals who are required to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in clinical and professional settings. This course emphasizes high-quality CPR, early use of an AED, and effective team-based resuscitation.

Participants will learn to perform adult, child, and infant CPR, use a bag-mask device, and respond to choking emergencies. The course combines video-based instruction, hands-on skills practice, and skills testing to ensure competence and confidence in emergency response.

Successful completion of all required skills evaluations and the written exam is mandatory in accordance with AHA guidelines. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an AHA BLS Provider eCard, valid for two (2) years.

This course is intended for healthcare professionals such as nurses, physicians, paramedics, EMTs, medical assistants, dental professionals, and other clinical staff who require BLS certification for their role.

The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies involving infants and children. This course focuses on the systematic approach to pediatric assessment, effective team dynamics, and the recognition and treatment of respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest.

Participants will apply critical thinking and clinical decision-making through case-based scenarios and hands-on skills practice, including high-quality CPR, airway management, cardiac rhythm recognition, pharmacology, and post–cardiac arrest care. Emphasis is placed on early intervention and coordinated team response to improve patient outcomes.

Red Cross BLS

American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)

The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals and public safety personnel who respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in professional settings. This course emphasizes high-quality CPR, effective team dynamics, and early intervention to improve patient outcomes.

Participants will learn and practice adult, child, and infant CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of choking in accordance with current Red Cross guidelines. The course also reinforces critical concepts such as scene safety, rapid assessment, and coordinated response during resuscitation efforts.

This course is appropriate for healthcare providers, EMS personnel, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical or allied health professionals who require BLS certification for employment or credentialing. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, participants will receive an American Red Cross BLS certification valid for two years.

Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid and AED

The 2025 American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED course is designed to prepare participants to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This course combines evidence-based instruction with hands-on skills practice to build confidence and readiness in real-world situations.

Participants will learn how to perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and respond appropriately to choking emergencies. The first aid portion covers common medical and injury-related emergencies, including bleeding control, shock, burns, sudden illness, and environmental emergencies.

This course meets current 2025 American Red Cross guidelines and is appropriate for workplace responders, childcare providers, coaches, teachers, healthcare support staff, and members of the community who need or want certification. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED certification valid for two years.

Stop The Bleed - Virtual Course

 

Stop the Bleed – Online Interactive Course teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action until professional help arrives. This self-paced, engaging program uses interactive lessons to build confidence in real-world response, including when to apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and use a tourniquet.

Who this course is for
This course is designed for anyone who wants practical, real-life bleeding control skills—workplace teams, community members, schools, security personnel, coaches, and responders. No prior medical training is required.

What you’ll learn
Participants will learn how to:
• Recognize life-threatening bleeding and prioritize scene safety
• Identify when bleeding is severe enough to require rapid intervention
• Apply direct pressure effectively and use pressure dressings
• Pack a wound (when appropriate) and maintain pressure
• Apply a tourniquet correctly and understand common mistakes to avoid
• Activate emergency response (911), communicate clearly, and hand off care
• Understand what to do in workplace injuries, vehicle crashes, and public emergencies

Course format
This is a fully online, interactive course you can complete from your phone, tablet, or computer. Progress is self-paced and includes knowledge checks throughout to reinforce key actions and decision-making. A certificate of completion is provided after successfully finishing the course requirements.

CPR and First Aid - Online Course

Community Responders’ Online CPR/First Aid course is a comprehensive, self-paced program designed to teach the core knowledge needed to recognize emergencies, provide immediate care, and respond confidently until professional help arrives. Course content follows current AHA, ECC, and other applicable, up-to-date resuscitation and first aid standards.

This is an online-only course and does not include an in-person skills check by default.

Important note about employer acceptance
Not all employers, schools, or regulatory agencies accept online-only CPR/First Aid training. Many require hands-on skills verification.

Strong recommendation: add a skills session

Pet CPR/First Aid

Red Cross Pet CPR Training teaches pet owners and animal care professionals how to recognize an emergency and provide immediate care to a dog or cat until veterinary help is available. This course focuses on practical, lifesaving actions including assessing your pet, providing rescue breathing and CPR when indicated, and responding to choking and common urgent conditions.

Who this course is for
This training is ideal for pet owners, pet sitters, groomers, veterinary office support staff, dog walkers, kennel/daycare teams, and anyone who wants to feel prepared to help a pet in distress. No prior medical training is required.

What you’ll learn
Participants will learn how to:
• Recognize signs of illness or injury and determine when urgent care is needed
• Approach and handle pets safely (protecting yourself and reducing pet stress)
• Perform a quick assessment: responsiveness, breathing, and circulation
• Provide rescue breathing for dogs and cats
• Perform CPR for dogs and cats (including size considerations)
• Respond to choking and airway obstruction
• Control bleeding and manage wounds until veterinary care is reached
• Recognize and respond to shock
• Identify common emergencies such as poisoning, heat emergencies, seizures, and trauma basics
• Transport tips and how to communicate effectively with a veterinary clinic/emergency hospital

This course is an online only course. Please allow a few hours for the delivery of your online course.

AHA Instructor Essentials ACLS (ACLS Instructor)

The AHA ACLS Instructor Course prepares qualified healthcare providers to teach AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses. This instructor-level program reviews ACLS science and protocols, emphasizes high-quality team-based resuscitation, and focuses on the teaching, coaching, and evaluation skills required to run effective ACLS classes.

Who this course is for
This course is designed for clinicians who want to become AHA ACLS Instructors and are affiliated with an AHA Training Center. You should already have a current AHA ACLS Provider card and strong clinical familiarity with ACLS algorithms, rhythms, and megacode performance.

What you’ll learn
You will learn how to teach ACLS content using AHA curriculum, facilitate scenario-based learning, coach teams through megacodes, evaluate student performance, and manage the course flow required for successful completion. The course includes instructor-level discussion, skills coaching strategies, and guidance on AHA standards, course paperwork, and instructor responsibilities.

Requirements (read carefully)
• Current AHA ACLS Provider card required
• Successful completion of the AHA ACLS Instructor Essentials (online) is required prior to the in-person session

This course is designed for individuals who want to become AHA Heartsaver Instructors and are affiliated with an AHA Training Center. This track is ideal for safety professionals, educators, corporate trainers, and responders who will be teaching CPR/AED and First Aid to lay rescuers and workplace teams. A current AHA provider card in the discipline you plan to teach (CPR/AED and/or First Aid) is strongly recommended and may be required based on Training Center policy.

What you’ll learn
You will learn how to teach Heartsaver content using AHA curriculum, demonstrate and coach adult CPR and AED use, teach choking relief and first aid skills, run skills practice and testing stations, evaluate student performance, and manage the course flow required for successful completion. The AHA PALS Instructor Course prepares qualified healthcare providers to teach American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses. This instructor-level program reviews PALS science and protocols, emphasizes high-quality pediatric resuscitation and effective team-based response, and focuses on the teaching, coaching, and evaluation skills required to run compliant, high-performing PALS classes.

Who this course is for
This course is designed for clinicians who want to become AHA PALS Instructors and are affiliated with an AHA Training Center. You should already have a current AHA PALS Provider card and strong familiarity with pediatric assessment, PALS algorithms, rhythms, airway/ventilation management, and team-based megacode performance.

What you’ll learn
You will learn how to teach PALS content using AHA curriculum, facilitate scenario-based learning, coach teams through pediatric megacodes, evaluate student performance, and manage the course flow required for successful completion. The course includes instructor-level discussion, teaching and debriefing strategies, and guidance on AHA standards, course paperwork, and instructor responsibilities.

• Successful completion of the AHA PALS Instructor Essentials (online) is required prior to the in-person session
• Alignment with a Training Center/Site required to teach and issue AHA eCards after you complete the instructor process (We provide this for free)

Targeted at medical couriers and healthcare logistics staff, this course covers specimen handling, safety protocols, HIPAA confidentiality, and professional conduct. Participants will engage in structured instruction, real-world scenarios, and develop the skill set necessary for compliant and secure medical logistics. Opioid Awareness and Response Training for Pet Care Professionals and Families

This comprehensive training program equips pet owners, pet care professionals, and first responders with the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognize and respond to opioid exposure in animals. As opioid-related incidents continue to rise, pets are increasingly at risk of accidental exposure through household medications and environmental contact. Early recognition and rapid intervention can be lifesaving.

Participants will learn to identify early, progressive, and life-threatening signs of opioid overdose in dogs and cats, including subtle symptoms that are often overlooked. The course provides a clear understanding of how Naloxone works, when its use may be appropriate in emergency situations involving pets, and the limitations of its effectiveness.

In addition to overdose recognition, learners will be guided through step-by-step emergency response protocols, including scene safety, assessment of breathing, and basic airway and respiratory support techniques tailored for animals. Emphasis is placed on critical decision-making, ensuring participants understand when and how to escalate care and activate emergency veterinary services without delay.

Through engaging video instruction, real-world scenarios, and practical demonstrations, participants will build confidence in applying these skills in high-stress situations. The course also addresses important legal and ethical considerations, including the off-label nature of naloxone use in animals and the necessity of immediate veterinary follow-up care.

Upon completion, learners will be prepared to act quickly, confidently, and responsibly in suspected opioid exposure emergencies—helping to stabilize pets, support life-saving interventions, and improve outcomes until professional veterinary care is available.

Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid and AED - Blended

The 2025 American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED course is designed to prepare participants to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This course combines evidence-based instruction with hands-on skills practice to build confidence and readiness in real-world situations.

Participants will learn how to perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and respond appropriately to choking emergencies. The first aid portion covers common medical and injury-related emergencies, including bleeding control, shock, burns, sudden illness, and environmental emergencies.

This course meets current 2025 American Red Cross guidelines and is appropriate for workplace responders, childcare providers, coaches, teachers, healthcare support staff, and members of the community who need or want certification. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED certification valid for two years.

Participants will learn the common signs and symptoms of stroke, how to use the FAST assessment, and why immediate action is critical. Using clear instruction and real-life scenarios, this course helps learners know when to call 911 and how to respond quickly and confidently during a possible stroke emergency.
